       Will Bishop, owner and inventor of Above All Shower Shelf is from Southern Colorado.  He inherited his work and moral ethic from a strong family of Slovenian decent.  His brother Jim has become notorious as the builder of Bishop Castle near Rye Colorado. Will shares a remarkable capacity for tenacity, an appreciation for hard work, and inventiveness with his brother. His  Christian fatih heritage as a Catholic, has given Will his appreciation for the joy received from being altruistic.   His experiences have taught him the importance of steping forward and that the best leaders do so by example.

   Some proceeds from Above All Shower Shelf, LLC will help us all work to alleviate the difficulties that many young people struggle with as part of our country's homeless population.

    Homeless adolescents account for a vastly underestimated number of homeless Americans.  They often are marginalized beyond other homeless. Not yet adults, and certainly no longer children, they often 'fall through the cracks' of many agencies that address homelessness.

    Mr. Bishop formerly worked at a city hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He retired after 27 years of continuous service.

During his years there he often encountered young people, who during the coldest months of the year would enter the hospital for shelter.  They would often try to hide in places like public restrooms. Often if discovered by the 'wrong' person they might be summarily evicted.

Mr. Bishop's heart went out to them.  It still does!  His desire to give back some of the blessings our world has given him is a driving force.

The Above All Shower Shelf is a vehicle to deliver necessary resources to help heal one of society's ugliest scars.

Trusted advisors, Mr. Bishop's relatives, friends, associates, and colleagues have and will continue to assist in his efforts to help the homeless. They want to help, and they believe in Mr. Bishop's dream.

Most shower stalls aren't made with a built in shower shelf.  People either just place their stuff on the floor or purchase some type of shower caddie or soap dish.

Will Bishop was just like any other home owner whose shower stall didn't have anywhere to put shampoo bottles, razors, or any of the other stuff people want to have in their showers. 

Until, once when he bumped into one of the little suction cup shower caddies. He knocked it down. All of the stuff in it fell to the floor and one item, a glass shattered.

That might seem like not such a big deal, and in most instances it wouldn't have been.

But on this occasion, this time it was the last straw.

Will had finished a twelve hour night shift that day, and remained on call.  He would be expected to return to work within thirty minutes of being recalled to work.

He was part of a medical transport team. He would often travel by ambulance, airplane or helicopter to an outlying hospital to bring their patient to Colorado Springs.

The day that Will was called back to work, the shelf crashed and the glass shatterd, was the day that he decided to make the first shower shelf that was to become the product he is selling here.

Out of necessity this product had been designed, from compassion for kids struggling to live this company exists.
